Marvel's Spider-Man 2's newly revealed Moon and Shadow Spidey suits have fans hyped - especially the Moon suit that has its roots in the wild Infinity War comics!

Spidey's Moon Suit in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Has Crazy Origins!

Abandon all normality, folks, and strap on those stylish web shooters because our favorite wall-crawler is politically charged, fashion-forward...and did I mention he now glows in the dark? Insomniac has unveiled a glimpse of two new dapper suits in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 game - the Moon and the Shadow Spidey outfits - that have webheads (and fashion critics) going wild!

Allow me to paint you a picture. Imagine Peter Parker in a Moon Suit that looks nothing like Oscar Isaac's Disney Plus variant, but that's probably the whole point. Let's call it "creative distraction". Then you've got Miles Morales looking exceptionally sinister in the Shadow suit, complete with a nose nozzle. Yes, that's right - a nose nozzle. It's odd, but we're not here to judge, we're here for the coolness factor.

Our source of excitement though is the Moon Suit crawling - or rather swinging - from an utterly bizarre moment in the Infinity War comics. Picture this: during a tumultuous temporal turmoil, our heroes get sort of blended into each other like they've been through a Marvel-branded juicer. And voila! Our beloved Spider-Man and Moon Knight get meshed, resulting in the luminescent Moon suit. Weird? Yes. Awesome? Absolutely!

Over on planet Reddit, fans are drumming their fingers, counting the days till they can try on these new suits. One comment reads, "Man, 15 days feel like an eternity...can't wait to get my hands on this game." However, PC gamers might be gearing up for a longer cryogenic sleep, potentially waiting another four years for their crack at the game. We're crossing our fingers and toes for a quicker turnaround.

Aspiring fashionistas and arachnids, if you fancy both these magnificent suits, better have that Deluxe Edition of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on your radar! The sewers of Insomniac's sequel will be available for crawl-and-explore starting October 20, exclusively on PS5. But beware, webheads, there are potential spoilers lurking in the shadows on the interwebs, ready to ambush you just before the launch. Happy swinging!
