Even Batman can't escape the gravitational pull of December. Rocksteady Studios delays Arkham Trilogy's Switch release, citing the set needs some more fine-tuning.

Batman Does Laundry: Arkham Trilogy Delayed for Game Switch

Bat-fans, hold onto your capes! Earlier this year, game developer Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Games promised you a joyride on the Batmobile by announcing the release of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy on the Switch. The thrill amplified with the inclusion of the Gotham Knights saga, which would had us glued to the screen, Bat-coffee in one hand and Switch joystick in the other. Only if the super-villains stayed home this time around, we would have the trilogy in our hands by October 13. But, alas, the Scarecrow strikes again!

Crime never rests, and neither does the Bat-team. In true Batman style, the developer duo secretly postponed the release to December 1. Apparently, Batsy's gear pack needed some more oiling. The team feels that there's more work to be done as they seek to bring the best of the Arkham experience to the Nintendo Switch. They revealed this tiny disappointment in a Twitter post, asking for understanding and patience from all the eager Bat-fans waiting for their Gotham adventure.

Like a cliffhanger episode ending, the delay message left fans pulling their Bat-hats in anticipation. But fear not, fellow Bat-fans! We might have to wait a little longer for our Gotham escapade, but we can still get our Bat-fix. Steer your Batmobile towards trailers of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy Switch reveal, and if you're still yearning for more, power up your Batsuit with informative and exciting Game Informer's reviews of Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight episodes.

But stay put, there's more- you can also check out the latest Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League trailer and sulk about how Rocksteady postponed that as well till February. Seems like the British developer is playing hard to get. But isn't that part of Batman's charm?

So, fellow Gotham citizens, how do you feel about sharing your Christmas cookies with the Batman: Arkham Trilogy on the Switch this December? Don your Batmask and let out a hearty Bat-laugh, for the Gotham nightlife awaits!
