Subway Surfers and Back to the Future team up for a high octane, time-warping experience, offering players a dose of the 80s with a new gaming twist.

Marty McFly Sneakers Up for Subway Surfers

Let's hop in the DeLorean and surf back in time! SYBO, the pixie dust behind Subway Surfers, just spilled the beans- a spanking new, time-wrangling collab event within the lovable, endless runner game. Subway Surfers buffs be warned - you're about to surf the tracks Marty McFly style, amalgamating with none other than the iconic franchise, "Back to the Future". Nay, you're not hallucinating - this blend of fun and nostalgia is courtesy of Universal Games and Digital Platforms and available till the strike of midnight on October 31st.

So, what can you, as a Subway Surfer, look forward to this autumn? Say 'hello' to Outatime Jake. If you're expecting a country bumpkin from the 1800s, you're off the mark. Jake's suited up in the "Future McFly outfit." That's right! El Dude is moonwalking in Marty McFly's threads from the film. Can we get a "Great Scott!" But we can't stop there, folks. Not by an atomic Pluto. No celebration of "Back to the Future" Day, marked on October 21st, is complete without a hoverboard. And voilà! Jake has one to keep the spirit of this stellar 1985 gem alive and kicking.

Mathias Gredal Nørvig, CEO of SYBO, took a moment to eloquently comment on the monumental mashup. "As the cosmos of gaming and old school entertainment collides, we're over the moon to add a dash of 'Back to the Future' to our 'Subway Surfers' universe. This is our debut with a film's IP," said the proud Nørvig. One might almost say he's beaming with an "I've created life!" equivalent fervour (yup, that's another Doc Brown reference for you!).

With a touch of nostalgia and a dollop of fandom, both 'Subway Surfers' and 'Back to the Future' have their loyalists, claims Nørvig. This collaboration is expected to create a universe where these separate worlds will beautifully collide. Bill Kispert of Universal Games shares the sentiment. "Iconic franchises find new fans and keep the older ones engaged by partnering with ace game studios. The marriage of 'Back to the Future' and 'Subway Surfers' has resulted in a perfect offspring that's fun and relatable," says Bill, with all the enthusiasm of Doc Brown right before a lightning storm.

If this talk about time travel, hoverboards, and Marty McFly haven’t zapped your neural circuits already, can you handle the excitement of testing it out in the digitalscape? You can download Subway Surfers tonight and start surfing those tracks. Just hold on to the flux capacitor, kids! Happy surfing, Marty McFly style! Time is just a finite resource, or is it now? You tell us.
