Honkai: Star Rail, the popular game known for its immersive storytelling and dynamic gameplay, is set to receive a substantial update called Amphoreus on PlayStation 5. The update will arrive early next year, bringing an array of anticipated changes and additions that are sure to excite both existing fans and newcomers to the game.
The game has been experiencing minor updates over recent times, but it seems the developers are now gearing up for a more substantial offering. The update heralds the exploration of a new planet, which was selected by the Nameless for the Trailblazing mission earlier in the year. In the lead-up to the Amphoreus update, game version 2.7 is set to release on December 4th. This version will progress the main storyline and serve as a bridge into version 3.0. The upcoming story focuses on characters Sunday and Fugue and introduces a new rendition of the character Tingyun. A newly introduced resource similar to Self-Modelling Resin will allow players to fine-tune the sub-stats for a Relic. This means more control over equipment customization, as players will have the capability to reassign sub-stats like Break Effect, SPD, or CRIT according to their strategic preferences.
An additional perk beginning with version 2.7 and extending through version 3.2, is the Gift of the Express. This feature will offer players a free standard 5-Star character, adding to the game's appeal by enhancing the available roster of powerful characters.
