Giants Album Celebrates Video Game Music Icons

Brave Wave Productions has launched a pre-order for an exciting new project that is sure to delight video game music enthusiasts and nostalgic fans alike. The project, an album titled "Giants," is a special release marking the 10th anniversary of the music label, known for its deep roots in the video game music scene. The album is a celebration of the musical giants who have carved their names into the history of gaming music.

The "Mega Album" Giants comprises 22 tracks that showcase an incredible collaboration of talent from some of the industry's most revered composers. These artists have been behind the iconic soundtracks of legendary game franchises such as Ninja Gaiden and Mega Man. This album not only introduces new video game-inspired music but also offers fresh remixes of classic compositions.

One of the standout tracks is called "Ronin," a unique collaboration that brings together three composers from the Ninja Gaiden series: Keiji Yamagishi, Ryuichi Nitta, and Kaori Nakabai. The three have merged their creative forces to produce a single, cohesive piece that pays homage to the series' musical legacy.

Mega Man fans are in for a treat as well with "Ultramarine," a track developed by Takeshi Tateishi of Mega Man 2 fame, working alongside Harumi Fujita who worked on Mega Man 3, and Tee Lopes, recognized for his contribution to Sonic Mania. This marks Tateishi's first new music release in years, generating excitement among fans of the blue bomber.

Another remarkable inclusion in the album is "Full Circle," a piece representing the first collaboration between Yasuaki "BunBun" Fujita and Harumi Fujita, who both composed music for Mega Man 3. Despite sharing the same last name, the two are not related, but their combined efforts on this track forge a new connection through music. The collaboration is made even more poignant by the addition of Harumi Fujita's son, Ayato Fujita, who was born during the development of Mega Man 3 and contributed to the track as well.
