The Galaxies Autumn Showcase 2026 delivered a remarkably busy rundown of game announcements on October 15, spanning more than 50 projects across major platforms and PC. The presentation mixed immediate launches with new trailers, playable demos, Steam playtests, early-access updates, and release windows stretching into late 2027.
Its biggest headlines included the arrival of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, a major seasonal update for The Finals, and a launch trailer for Saber Interactive's survival-action horror game Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival. Elsewhere, the showcase made room for tactical RPGs, life simulators, multiplayer shooters, pinball-inspired arcade action, atmospheric horror, and an abundance of smaller independent games.
Here is a detailed look at the most notable reveals, dates, and playable opportunities from the event.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is available now
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse led the event with a launch trailer celebrating its release. The game is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, giving fans of the long-running gothic action series a new adventure to jump into immediately.

The showcase did not attach further gameplay specifics to the trailer, but the launch itself was one of the event's most substantial pieces of news. Its availability across current PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Switch, and PC also makes it among the broadest platform releases featured in the presentation.
The Finals prepares for its Prime Time season
Embark Studios' competitive shooter The Finals is preparing to begin its Prime Time season on October 20, 2026. The upcoming season is positioned as the game's largest since launch, with remastered arenas, a more polished visual presentation, and additional opportunities for contestants to make an impact in its game-show-inspired destruction-driven battles.
For a game built around spectacle, destructible environments, and shifting competitive strategies, refreshed arenas could be especially meaningful. A new season also offers a natural point for existing competitors to return and for curious newcomers to see how the shooter has evolved.
Hellraiser Revival and Frosthaven mark new launches
Clive Barker's Hellraiser Revival also received a launch trailer. Developed by Saber Interactive, the title is a survival-action horror game based on the Hellraiser universe. It is out now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC.
The trailer emphasized the unnerving tone expected from the property, presenting a horror experience intended to be frightening as much as action-focused. The Switch 2 version notably expands the game's console footprint beyond PlayStation and Xbox hardware.
Meanwhile, Snapshot Games' Frosthaven has formally reached its Version 1.0 launch. The tactical turn-based RPG showed off its full-release update in a new trailer, offering a fresh look at the strategy game as it moves beyond its earlier version state.
Several games now have demos, playtests, and alpha access
A major theme of the showcase was immediate hands-on access. Appulse, a top-down arcade action game that combines pinball mechanics with shooter action, now has a demo on PC. Players defend their mothership from hostile robots, collect upgrades, wield varied weapons, and attempt to endure an intergalactic conflict. The full game is set to arrive on PC on November 26.
Gravity Circuit 2 also has a demo available on Steam. Developed by Domesticated Ant Games, the 2D action-platformer sequel will let players take control of either Gravity Circuit or Power Circuit as a new Ark emerges. Its full release is planned for spring 2027.
Horror fans can enter a pre-alpha Steam playtest for Voidwood, a one-to-four-player co-op survival horror game where proximity voice chat is woven directly into the threat. Communication is vital for survival, but the Beast can hear players as well. Voidwood is planned for PC via Steam in late 2027.
Tinker Island, a multiplayer sandbox set among tropical islands in ocean worlds, has a Steam demo available now. So does Elta: Defy All Gods, which also premiered new gameplay. Elta is built around free-form melee combat through sci-fi worlds, with players fighting to become the ultimate champion of the fallen god Elta. It is due for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 2, 2027.
Also on Steam, the narrative-driven card battler Appa is holding a playtest. Its story follows two siblings attempting to make peace with their father's death. Vaultbreakers, the top-down extraction RPG with PvE and PvPvE options, is hosting an alpha from October 15 through October 21. That test gives players the chance to investigate the Bahra Quest.
Dates set for Guns of Eschaton, Ancestors and Lelu
Guns of Eschaton will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on December 8, 2026. The project stands apart by mixing a first-person action shooter with Soulslike sensibilities, all within an apocalyptic Western setting. That combination could make it one of the more unusual genre hybrids on the calendar.
December 8 is also the date that Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey reaches PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2. The console release will add documentary-style narration, a photo mode, and quality-of-life changes. PC players will receive the same upgrade on that date.
For something very different, Jamierowan's Lelu is scheduled for Switch 2 and PC on January 21, 2027. This monochromatic exploration action-adventure follows a conscious clockwork toy pursuing freedom, giving the game a distinct visual and narrative premise amid the showcase's many darker offerings.
Squad heads to consoles while inZOI nears a major transition
The tactical military FPS Squad, already available on PC, is making its way to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2027. PlayStation users will not have to wait quite as long to try it: a free PS5 alpha preview is planned from October 16 to October 25.
inZOI received another gameplay showcase as well. The life simulation game allows players to shape a broad variety of lives, including raising families and pursuing leisure activities. It is currently available in Early Access on Mac and PC, though its Early Access period is set to conclude soon. No final-version date was announced during the event.
Train Sim World 7, Stuntman: Hollywood and new concepts
Train Sim World 7 is getting a substantial content update, including new routes and classic trains. The simulation is already available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, while Train Sim World 7: Free Edition is available for players who want to sample it.
A new trailer for Stuntman: Hollywood highlighted Knight Rider gameplay. The game is centered on performing dangerous set pieces inspired by blockbuster filmmaking, from explosive sequences to high-speed drifting in pursuit of stardom.
The showcase also revealed AfterZero: The Last Drive, a survival driving adventure set during an endless winter. Players will navigate dangerous freezing conditions, solve puzzles, and work through a reality-altering mystery. Another newly highlighted project, Deperson, is a psychological horror adventure built around abstract worlds, puzzles, and confronting difficult truths.
Horror remains a major showcase presence
Beyond Hellraiser Revival and Voidwood, the presentation featured several horror-focused projects. Where Sirens Fall Silent unveiled an Act III trailer, titled The Man. The game follows a determined policewoman investigating kidnappings and murders in early-1990s Italy.
Agni: Village of Calamity offered another look at its cinematic survival horror approach, combining ritualistic strangeness and psychological terror with Indonesian slasher-style violence. Encryption, a first-person horror game, likewise showed its virus-ravaged setting, where players descend to the lower levels of a dangerous facility in search of the truth.
A long tail of games to watch
The presentation's breadth extended well beyond its headline trailers. Other games included My Penguin Friend, a forthcoming PC game about exploring alongside Dindim, a spirited penguin from a coastal village; and One More Plate!, a co-op physics party game arriving on PC on November 10, 2026, in which friends serve plates and shapes to hungry monsters.
Additional names featured during the showcase included Mr. Records, Nautus, Deep Dish Dungeon, Altered Alma, Ember and Blade, SOMBRAS: Negative Frames, SPRKLS.exe, Nekome: Nazi Hunter, Late Shift, There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, Contact Protocol, Spine, Wild n Chill, 1666: Amsterdam, AOKAKI, Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino, Kloa: Child of the Forest, Satellite Odyssey: Jupiter, Vale's Echo, Planted!, Wild Wild Eden, ZERO PARADES: Director's Cut, and Developing....
With immediate releases, test opportunities, and a dense 2027 pipeline, the Galaxies Autumn Showcase offered something for players across action, simulation, strategy, party games, and horror. The most urgent dates are clustered between now and early 2027, while several of the event's more ambitious projects are still taking shape for later release.
