Inti Creates is developing 'Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark', a dynamic sequel promising an enhanced Metroidvania experience with multiplayer options.

Gal Guardians: A New Adventure Awaits in Dark Realms

Inti Creates, a renowned game developer, has recently unveiled plans for a brand new addition to their gaming portfolio with 'Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark'. This game serves as a sequel to 'Gal Guardians: Demon Purge' and is set to deliver an expanded gameplay experience, transitioning fully into the Metroidvania genre—a blend of intricate world-building and seamless navigation reminiscent of classic titles like Metroid and Castlevania.

The developers have not yet disclosed a specific release window for 'Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark', but they have confirmed that the game will indeed be available on the Nintendo Switch platform. An interesting feature of this upcoming game is its accommodation for both solo and multiplayer enjoyment. The multiplayer mode is particularly notable for its online connectivity, allowing players to jointly explore the game's elaborate worlds, each controlling one of the two main characters.

The newly released debut trailer for 'Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark' teases gameplay that seems to take inspiration from Koji Igarashi's iconic work on 'Castlevania', particularly titles like 'Aria of Sorrow' and 'Order of Ecclesia'. However, 'Gal Guardians' leans more towards a vigorous action-packed approach. Players can choose between two distinct characters, each equipped with unique weapons—Kirika wields a whip suited for close combat, while Masha utilizes a gun for long-range attacks.
