Fans of the action RPG Freedom Wars are in for a treat as Bandai Namco has announced the release of Freedom Wars Remastered, set to launch on the Nintendo Switch and other platforms on January 10, 2025. The original game, which was a PlayStation Vita exclusive, is being remastered in high definition to celebrate its 10th anniversary. This new version promises to bring back every beloved feature of the original game, accompanying them with several updates and improvements that aim to enhance the player’s experience.
The premise of Freedom Wars is both unique and enthralling. Set in a dystopian future where being born is considered a sin, players must fight to reduce their million-year prison sentence. To do this, they create and customize characters and their accessory partners to take down gigantic biomechanical creatures known as Abductors.
