Gamers are in for a treat as Xbox prepares to release over ten new games in the upcoming week spanning from July 29 to August 2. Among these exciting releases is the long-awaited return of a Star Wars classic, marking its debut on Xbox after more than two decades.
We kick off the roster with "Sword & Fairy Inn 2" launching on July 30. This adorable life simulation RPG set in a fantasy universe combines various gameplay mechanics, presented in charming chibi style. Players will reunite with familiar faces from the Sword and Fairy series, working together to run an inn and build a happy community.
Next, on July 31, the cyberpunk-themed FPS "Deadlink" hits the scene. It's a roguelite shooter where players control an autonomous combat shell to battle through various dystopian environments, tackling missions to stop powerful corporations' devious plans. On the same day, "Death Noodle Delivery" promises a quirky experience where players must deliver noodles efficiently under the threat of perilous conditions.
"Roots of Pacha," also releasing on July 31, offers a serene experience as players join a stone age community. This game encourages creativity and collaboration, where players domesticate plants, befriend animals, and innovate to aid their village's progression.
As we enter August, Xbox users will see a series of unique games debuting. "AirportSim," launching on August 1, is an advanced simulator praised for its realism by real-life airport ground handling crew. It includes licensed planes, authentic vehicles, and real weather conditions impacting gameplay.
The same day sees the release of "Beastie Bay DX," where players explore uncharted territories, establishing crops, homes, and self-sustaining resources to transform islands into personal paradises. "Forest Camp Story" gives players the thrill of outdoor adventure, managing camping sites and ensuring guests have unforgettable experiences in nature.
"Landnama" also arrives on August 1, challenging players to select a clan and survive the harsh winters in an unwelcoming new land, while "Mars 2120" combines classic metroidvania elements with a compelling story set on Mars.
One of the highlights is the release of "Star Wars: Bounty Hunter" on August 1. Players step into the shoes of Jango Fett, a prime bounty hunter embroiled in capturing a renegade Dark Jedi. This action-packed adventure game has been eagerly anticipated by Star Wars fans and gamers alike.
More games set for August 1 include "Quriocity," where players lead humanity’s efforts to establish a multi-planet civilization on an alien planet. "TENSEI" invites players into a peaceful journey of self-discovery set within Zen landscapes.
On August 2, "Aero The Acro-Bat," an iconic game from the early '90s makes its comeback, offering players a nostalgic platforming experience. "Cilla" and "Closer The Distance" both provide deep narrative-driven gameplay exploring the themes of morality, tragedy, and human relationships in alternate future settings.
Lastly, "Sugar Tanks 2" continues the vibrant tank shooter saga on August 2 alongside "The Mortuary Assistant," where players manage a mortuary, performing embalmings and fending off demonic entities.
