Celebrating ten years of creative achievements, Enhance studio releases a special book and vinyl collection highlighting key projects like Tetris Effect and Rez Infinite.

Enhance Studio Marks Decade with Exclusive Book and Vinyl

Founded by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, Enhance studio is renowned for its distinctive approach to combining music, visuals, and interactive gameplay into captivating experiences. As the studio hits its ten-year mark, it is commemorating the occasion with the release of a lavish book and vinyl collection titled "Sounds and Visions: Enhance at 10". This release is a collaboration with Lost in Cult Records and Cook & Becker, known for their high-quality artistic productions.

The primary offering from this anniversary celebration is a book that covers four of Enhance's major games: Rez Infinite, Tetris Effect, Lumines Remastered, and HUMANITY. Titled "Sounds & Visions: An Oral History of Enhance", the book promises to delve deep into the studio's philosophy and creative journey. It includes extensive musical archives, in-depth interviews with the team, and explorations of future projects and ambitions of Enhance. This compendium is designed not just as a retrospective but as an inspiration for the future directions of interactive media.

In addition to the book, the studio is offering two exquisitely designed limited edition box sets. The first is a boxed set priced at $259, limited to 1,010 copies, each signed by Tetsuya Mizuguchi himself. This set includes the Sounds & Visions book, a (Super)CD titled "Hydelic At 10", which features select tracks from Tetris Effect: Connected and Rez Infinite. Complementing these are two giclee art prints signed by artist Takashi Ishihara, a Rez Infinite inspired laser-etched glass sculpture, and a certificate of authenticity for each item in the set. Planned for shipment in Summer 2025, this collection is a collector's dream, reflecting the unique artistic vision of Enhance.

The second offering is a vinyl collection, also signed by Mizuguchi and limited to 505 units. This collection is priced similarly at $259 and includes nine LPs pressed on 180g vinyl featuring sounds from the entire range of games developed by Enhance. It also includes the Enhance Soundworks liner booklet, a unique turntable slipmat featuring Enhance iconography, an Enhance iconography poster, and an Enhance iconography pin collection. This set is scheduled for shipment in Spring 2025, providing an analog touch to the digital realms created by Enhance.

These anniversary items are available for pre-order exclusively from Lost In Cult and Cook and Becker. By purchasing these, fans not only get to own a piece of video game history but also support the future creative endeavors of Enhance studio.

The importance of commemorating this decade lies not just in celebrating past achievements but also in setting the stage for future innovations. Enhance has always been at the forefront of integrating sensory experiences with gaming, pushing the boundaries of what games can convey. Projects like Rez Infinite and Tetris Effect have already shown how games can be transformative experiences, not just entertainment, and the studio's approach continues to influence the wider gaming and art communities.

As Enhance steps into the next decade, the release of "Sounds and Visions: Enhance at 10" stands as a testament to its vision and a preview of what's to come. It's an invitation to both longtime fans and newcomers to explore the synesthetic worlds crafted by Mizuguchi and his team, offering a truly immersive dive into the heart of what makes Enhance a unique studio in the digital landscape.

Nothing beats unwinding with some Call of Duty action or diving into platformer games. It's all about balance, right? Pixels by day, platforms by night!
