Cyberpunk 2077, the action RPG from developer CD Projekt Red, has released its latest patch, 2.02, for PlayStation 5. While it may be deemed a 'minor' patch compared to its vast predecessor, patch 2.0, it still packs a punch with significant gameplay refinements and bug fixes.
Some of the key updates in this patch address time limitations within the vehicle courier missions, allowing for a more balanced gameplay experience. The update also modifies the efficiency of various weapon types leading to a more challenging and immersive experience. Even the Malorian Arms, Johnny's weapon of choice known for its exhilarating gameplay, has been boosted in terms of recoil and damage output, adding an extra layer of fun to the gaming experience.

On the PC-specific side of things, the update resolves the mismatching or corruption of scripts caused by outdated mods or file corruption during update/installation. Conversely, on consoles, the saving process has been refined to prevent overwriting saves and mitigating save corruption.
In addition to gameplay upgrades, various optimizations have been introduced for smoother performance and fewer crashes. A patch has been applied to fix an issue where achievements or trophies could unlock, even when the criteria were not met. The patch also addresses some sound and visual glitches to enhance the overall gaming experience.
